The additions are obvious and really require no explanation.  I did however change the brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation on both photos involved.  I was wanting to spend more time on it (only spent a half hour), but ran out.  I created this just for fun, I hope you enjoy the photo as much as I enjoyed creating it!
